Excellent example of three draw brass and leather telescope made most likely in England in late 1800' early 1900's. The telescope focuses clear from the first draw following the eye piece and is very compact . The device has two nice leather dust covers to protect the lenses. Dimensions: 22.5 inch span when opened (26 inch when the retractable sunshade is opened) and 8 inch when closed and 34 mm object lens. Due to its compact size and weight the device had many users, from the boat captain, cavalry officer or explorer. The telescope is in very good condition with nice patina, one of the leather dust caps has a small repaire. Excellent for sightseeing and hiking.
