SOLD Rare example of antique surveyors improved dumpy level made by Elliott Brothers London in the last half of 19th century. The device is made of lacquered brass and is in excellent condition. The telescope has good view and 50 mm object lens with inverted image. Comes with extra eye piece, a sighting vane and a nice mahogany case. Just the main alcohol level is a little cloudy. The second small alcohol level for side to side adjustments is empty.
