SOLD Excellent example of combination of medium sized terrestrial and astronomical telescope made in England in early 1900’s.
The telescope is very practical because folds in a nice wooden box with the dimensions of 15 x 7 x 3 inches and the weight Is just 6.5 LB. The wooden stand is compact and the telescope is very easy to be used my himself. Has also two eye pieces one for terrestrial use about x25 power and one for astronomical use about x75 power with a dark red filter for sun.
The telescope is made of brass covered with mahogany veneer, with minimal wear and tear. One of the object lenses has two small marks on the side but don’t affect the vision. The telescope focuses sharp pushing and pulling the first draw near the eye. The telescope comes with an advertising paper from that era with extra information's. Dimensions : 30 inches open, 14 inches closed and 50 mm object lens.
