SOLD Excellent example of mahogany wood compass most likely made France in the last quarter of 1800's early 1900's. The compass has a automatic needle locking system and a nice blue steel hand. The unique paper dial is in good condition with minimal wear and tear. The mahogany case has some wear and tear due to the age and is missing the brass lock.
