A good example of a six draw brass telescope made In England in early 1800’s and signed “The Prince Manchester”. The telescope has a nice dark color ballen cover. There is some minimal wear and tear due to the age and some of the draws are a bit loose. The objective lenses look thinner than average and the focusing point is a bit shorter. Dimensions: 24 inches span when opened and 5 inches when closed and 32 mm object lens. Due to its compact size the device had many users, from the boat captain, cavalry officer or early explorer. Excellent display item.
