SOLD Rare example nautical ships telescope engraved on the barrel Dolland London Day or Night. The telescope is made of brass and mahogany wood most likely in mid 1800’s . The condition of the telescope is very good and has sharp image (42 object lenses). This is a fully functional telescope in very good condition with smooth draw action. The brass tripod can be taken off very easily by a screw. Some wear and tear due to the age, a small crack in the brass ring also the main mahogany barrel has a few small cracks and nice patina. Dimensions: 36 inches open, 14 1/2 inches closed.
