Good example of German-silver and iron drawing instruments made in in early 1900's most likely in Germany and sold by Geo E Watson Co Chicago Illinois . This type of instruments was used in maritime navigation by sailors, architects and mechanical engineers. The well fitted leather covered velvet and wood case incorporate a combination of 3 instruments: one compass dividers with additional accessories, a proportional divider, a pen and a small case of compass heads (one spring bow is missing) . The case still has the original leather cover with the engraving of the name of of the owners on the bottom . Dimensions: 8 inches x 3 3/4 inches x 3/4 inches.
