SOLD Featured below is an early example of genuine pocket prismatic compass made in the first half of 1800’s. This piece has engraved the signature of well-known scientific instrument maker Watkins and Hill of Charing Cross London and one of the early owners H. C. Fletcher L. F. Guards. The compass is complete and comes with original brass case with a fordable prism, sight vane and a nice floating green card. Dimensions: 72 mm diameter and 24 mm height.
