Excellent example of windup mahogany speedboat made by Mengel Playthings USA in 1920's. The the clockwork engine still runs smoothly. The speed control knob works and the rudder control mechanism still turns left and right.
The boat comes with a aftermarket wood display stand. The boat is in excellent condition for the age with minimal wear and tear. The finish on the port side of the boat has a few storage marks.
