SOLD Rare example of an original deep-sea diving helmet made from copper and brass in Korea most likely in 1940’s. The helmet was last used in Philippine islands for sponge harvesting.
The helmet has most of the original parts and accessories:
-matching breast plate and bonnet with matching serial numbers
- all matching straps and tiding bolts.
-chin dump valve
- original air vents
- exhaust valve and check valve (the valves are rebuilt, and one spring valve is missing).
Excellent original patina.
