SOLD- Rare example of Type I Curta device which is a highly accurate small mechanical calculator developed by Curt Herzstark in 1930’s in Vienna Austria. Latter the calculator was produced by Contina AG Mauren in Liechtenstein.The featured device was made in 1954 has serial number 24751 and was sold for the Brazilian market and comes with original user manual in Portuguese language. The Curta calculator was also used by commercial and general-aviation pilots and contestants of car rallies before the apparition of electronic calculators because of its precision. Dimensions: 110 mm length and 55 mm diameter and 8 ounces weight.
