SOLD Excellent example of Abney reflecting level and compass made by well known instruments maker Negretti & Zambra in 1920-1930. This is a simple type of sextant for measuring vertical angles on land and air with artificial horizon is used by military for artillery, surveyors, engineers and cartographers. The Abney reflecting level comes with a wonderful green card prismatic compass with 35 mm dial, and an original leather and burgundy velvet case. Dimensions: 5 x 2 x 1 inches. Excellent condition for the age.
