SOLD Here is an excellent example of a fine set of drawing instruments made in the late 1700s in England. This type of instruments was used in maritime navigation by sailors, architects and mechanical engineers. The well fitted shagreen etui incorporate a combination of ten instruments: two compass dividers, a brass handle drafting pen, two different weel doting pens, a crayon holder, boxwood plotting scale, an ebony parallel ruller and a very nice uniquely engraved brass protractor. The wooden case is in very good condition and the instruments have nice patina due to age.
