Nice example of unusual whale oil lamp made in early 1800’s. The lamp is unusual, has two parts the whale oil reservoir with 2 small burners and the pillar stand who can hold a candle if the oil runs out. On the sliding handle there is slightly visible makers mark. The lamp is made of thin metal and has a nice patina. The reservoir still has some of the old wick. Dimensions: 2.5 in diameter reservoir, 11 inches height and the base is 4 inches diameter.
