SOLD This is an excellent example of a large format surveying high altitude aneroid barometer/altimeter made by well known scientific instruments maker J.J. Hicks London in early 1900’s. The 3-3/4" Diameter case is solid brass with the back section having a anodized finish and an adjustable knob. The 80 mm silvered barometer dial goes 17- 31 inches, and the altimeter scale goes from 0 - 16000 feet. The altimeter comes with a double magnifying lenses for a accurate readings and an adjusting knob. The magnifier has some cracks on the lower lenses but does not affect the view.
