A rare example of a five draw enamel painted brass monocular or Galilean telescope made in early 1800’s. The small telescope focuses clear and is just 90 mm open and 32 mm closed and 38 mm diameter. Some wear and tear due to the age and enamel loss. This type of telescope was a fashion accessory designed to fit in the pocket.
