The microscope is from late 1800’s and was used by naturalists or students when working in the field. It has a simple push-pull focus that works with three objective lens, a central lens, one eyepiece, a small reflective mirror and is made of lacquered brass. There is no makers mark on the microscope but it’s probably made in France. Considering its age, the microscope is in good condition with some wear and tear. The push-pull focus works smoothly. The lenses are clear, with no damage. The microscope measures 6 1/2” in height and 2” diameter. The mahogany wood fitted case is in good condition with a small crack. The case measures 6. 1/2 L X 3”W X 2” H.
