SOLD The drum microscope is from early 1900's and was used by naturalists or students when working in the field. It has a simple push-pull focus that works with a single objective lens, a slide in eyepiece and is made of a nice combination of brass, iron and aluminum . There is no makers mark on the microscope but it’s probably made in Germany. Considering its age, the microscope is in good condition with some wear and tear. The push-pull focus works smoothly. The lenses are clear . The microscope measures 7 inch height 2 inch with and 2 1/2 inch height. The microscope is missing the original case and the mirror. Excellent display item or a good start for entry level collector.
