SOLD This is a late 19th century pocket surveyors altimeter barometer made by the well-known scientific instruments maker Taylor from Rochester New York. The silver barometer dial goes from 25-31 inches and the altimeter scale from zero to 6,000 feet ( 0 to 1800 meters) adjusted by a bezel with a dialing knob.The body of the altimeter is made of anodized brass and is in very good condition. The leather and velvet case is a bit dry and is missing the top. Dimensions: 75mm diameter and 35mm height.
