This is rare example antique explorers pocket altimeter barometer made by the well-known scientific instruments maker Dollond from London in late 1800’s. The pocket barometer comes with a wonderful brass display case. The barometer dial goes from 57-79 torr or mm/hg and the altimeter scale from zero to 2500 meters adjusted by a bezel with a dialing knob. The glass face has a small magnifying glass to see the dial. The gilded brass case is in excellent condition. Dimensions: 42mm diameter and 10mm height.
