SOLD Rare example of three draw nautical ships telescope with a nice engraving on the barrel depicting a trademark sign with an anchor and the words saying, “TRY MF” (TRY ME) and Day or Night. This trademark was used by well-known telescope maker J.P. Cutts Sutton & Son from London' in mid 1800’s. The telescope is made of brass and mahogany wood. This is a functional telescope in very good condition with smooth draw action and 42 mm object lens. Some wear and tear due to the age. Dimensions: 36 inches open, 12 inches closed. Excellent display item.
