SOLD The drum microscope is circa 1880's-1900's and was used by naturalists or students when working in the field. It has a simple push-pull focus that works with a single objective lens, a screw-on eyepiece, a small reflective mirror and is made of lacquered brass. There is no makers mark on the microscope but it’s probably made in France. Considering its age, the microscope is in good condition with some wear and tear. The push-pull focus works smoothly. The 3 lenses are clear, with no damage. Comes with original tweezers, and one microscope slide. The microscope measures 6" in height and 2" diameter. The wood fitted case is in good condition. The case measures 6" 3/4 L X 3"W X 2"H.
