Scarce example of single draw mahogany barrel telescope made in mid 1700's England. The telescope has 5 lens eye piece contained in the segmented part of the draw tube and 32 mm non-achromatic objective lens. The telescope is in good condition, has sharp image, a well preserved patina with a few small imperfections (the mahogany barrel has a few cracks and some wear and tear due to the age). Dimensions: 19 inches closed and 28.5 inches open. Excellent display item !!!
